Effective partnerships involve building a relationship based on trust and respectful communication between parents and school districts. Even through our best efforts, inevitably conflict will arise. However, there are many ways to resolve conflict without destroying parent relationships. The presentation will provide concrete strategies to support your teachers, service providers, and administrators to build a climate of trust, to work respectfully and collaboratively towards a common goal for the student, and to maintain parent partnership through difficult situations.
